Homemade Sweet Treats for Every Occasion
Calandra’s Bakery specializes in delicious, stunning and high quality cakes and cookies for special occasions and everyday dessert options. Not only are these scrumptious treats available in our three individual Calandra’s Bakeries, but they’re also sold at retail locations and supermarkets throughout New Jersey and the greater New York City area. While some of our cakes and cookies are prepared in a traditional and classic way, we also offer made-to-order cakes and custom cookies for the special occasions in our valued customers’ lives.
The cakes pictured are all available for in-store pickup anytime in both 5’’ and 7’’ sizes but can be made in up to a full sheet cake or even a custom tiered cake. Give us a call at least one week in advance and we’ll be able to customize your cake in both design and size!
Please note that tiered creations require a minimum of one week.
Our delicious cookies are handmade daily! Fill up a bag or box with your favorites, or have us prepare a cookie tray for an upcoming occasion. If you’re in the mood for a bigger treat, grab one of our jumbo varieties and indulge!
Cakes at Our NJ Bakeries
We take great pride in our cake baking and decorating, and have been offering a wide selection of cakes for many years. Our classic bakery cakes are available in both 5” and 7” sizes. However, they can also be turned into a full sheet cake or a custom tiered cake upon request. From rum cakes to chocolate shadow cakes, our desserts are perfect for a satisfying sweet treat after a family meal, and a great way to end a small celebration or gathering. These cakes are available for in-store pickup at any of our Calandra’s Bakery locations.
Looking for a unique, extravagant cake? At Calandra’s Bakery, we also create amazing specialty cakes for the milestones and memorable celebrations in your life. As one of the most experienced customized cake bakers and decorators in New Jersey, our trained pastry chefs make sure that the outcome is exactly as desired by our customers. This is so that our customer’s special day can be made complete, with a beautiful and delicious treat that friends and family can always remember. If you’d like to order a customized cake, please give us a call at least a week in advance so that we can accommodate your needs in a timely manner. Please note that tiered creations require a minimum of one week as well.

Timeless cookies that taste just like your grandmother used to make can be found at any of our Calandra’s Bakery locations. Linzer tarts, coconut macaroons, and even chocolate covered pretzels are just a few of the many goodies that we make by hand daily. We make it a priority to craft these cookies using reliable and delicious recipes, and always decorate them so that they look as exceptional as they taste.
Although these cookies come in a standard and normal size, we also offer jumbo varieties for those who are looking to really indulge their sweet tooth. We always provide boxes and bags for customers to fill up at our bakery locations. Our caring staff can also make a cookie platter with our fresh, homemade cookies if you have an upcoming party, celebration or special event, such as a birthday, graduation or your wedding.
